Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Dr Donée is an obstetrician & gynaecologist based at Mediclinic Cape Town, dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care for women at every stage of life. She is highly skilled in the management of both gynaecological and obstetric conditions, performing related surgical procedures, and conducting obstetric and gynaecological ultrasounds with precision and care.
With a special interest in supporting patients who have experienced sexual trauma, Dr Donée approaches her work with sensitivity, respect, and a deep commitment to patient privacy.
Her medical journey began with an MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria, followed by a Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MMed) from Stellenbosch University. During her training and practice, she gained extensive experience in hospitals across South Africa, including Potchefstroom, Paarl, and Tygerberg Academic Hospital, where she not only honed her clinical expertise but also trained medical students and contributed to improving healthcare systems. She also volunteered in Covid-19 wards during the pandemic, demonstrating her dedication to patient care in challenging times.
Today, Dr Donée offers her knowledge and experience to patients in Cape Town and surrounds, providing care that is both evidence-based and patient-centered.
